So there are LOADS of questions how to load brushes into PSP (any type.)
Well, I have PSPX2, and I’m going to tell you how to load brushes into PSP.
Important: Before we start, you have to have PSP open. If you don’t, whenever you’re going to open your brush in PSP, it’ll have to load & all that crap.
First of all, do the basics.
(Get a brush set, download it & open the file)
All set? Great!
Now go to the file with the brush. Keep clicking the files until you find the ACTUAL brush.
**NOTE: If you’re going to do this with a BRUSH SET, it’ll have to be separated & not a brush set containing all of the brushes**
Then, double click the brush.
Something like “This program is not specified for any (blah).”
Click “Choose Program From A List”
A new window (or the same;; can’t remember) will pop up & and you’ll have various programs listed. Click (whatever kind of PSP you have) from the list.
Wait for the brush(es;; if you opened more than one at a time) to load in PSP.
Once they load, click the brush tool on the tool bar.
Then, click on the arrow (above or underneath) the current brush.
You’ll find all of your brushes in a list.
Click on the “Create Custom Brush” under all of that. (Don’t know which button that is? Keep scrolling over every button under the brush list. ;) You’ll find SOMETHING like that.)
After you click that, a new window will pop up quickly.
There, you will see a brief icon of the brush you’re customly creating, and you will get to choose the name in a little captcha next to the icon. Under THAT will be different captchas that are nothing but a waste of space, in my opinion. So enter a name & hit enter on your keyboard, or click “OK” on the brush window.
After you’ve done that, keep scrolling for your brush(es) and you will have made a custom brush!! J
